The velvety smoothness of yogurt mousse meets the freshness of mixed berries and the unexpected touch of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, creating a dessert where every spoonful is a perfect balance of textures and unique flavors.
Preparation Time: 35 minutes + chilling time
Ingredients for 4 servings:
- Fresh liquid cream: 150 ml
- Powdered sugar: 4 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt: 300 g
- Mixed berries: 200 g
- Sponge cake: 2 slices*
- Granulated sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Gold Label Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP
* Alternatively, you can use individual sponge cake pastries.
Method:
Pour the chilled cream into a cold bowl, whip it to stiff peaks using an electric mixer.
In a separate bowl, beat the Greek yogurt with the powdered sugar, then gently fold in the whipped cream a little at a time, using upward movements. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Meanwhile, place ¾ of the mixed berries in a pan and let them soften over low heat for 5-10 minutes. Add 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar and cook for another 10 minutes.
Let the coulis cool completely.
Once ready, assemble the dessert in a glass by layering: yogurt mousse, berry coulis, more mousse, whole berries, diced sponge cake, and finish with a few drops of Balsamic Vinegar. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
